Welcome back to my Day 3 gameplay update on SteemRetroGames! I’m still grinding it out on Pentris, and today turned out to be one of my most exciting sessions so far. The game keeps getting better each time, and my focus level is definitely improving.
After spending the past few days getting familiar with the pace and block patterns, I finally felt like everything clicked today — and it paid off big time!

This session was a major milestone for me! My first play started slow with a score of 72, which I was fine with — just warming up. But my second play turned into a total breakthrough — I smashed my personal best with a score of 435, my highest score of all time (OAT)!
The satisfaction of seeing those lines clear perfectly and the score shoot up was incredible. I stayed calm, focused, and avoided panicking when the screen started filling up.
Thoughts & Experience
Each session with Pentris teaches me something new about patience and precision. The faster it gets, the more your brain needs to process patterns quickly — one wrong move, and you’re done. But when you finally find your rhythm, the gameplay feels super rewarding.
Breaking my own record today really boosted my confidence. It’s not just about playing for fun anymore — it’s about pushing my limits and tracking real progress day by day.
Final Thoughts
Day 3 has easily been my best session so far, and I’m hyped for what comes next. I’m planning to cross the 500+ score mark soon. Pentris continues to be my go-to retro challenge — simple, competitive, and addictively fun.
