RE: Swimsuit Cafe in Akiba
I have been to a cafe in japan and the food was decent. I am also trying to learn a bit japanese. I know some basics but I found out I panic and forget everything on my last trip. I have a lot of work to do to learn the language.
Haha. Yeah, it's one thing to learn it in the comfort of your own home but then when it comes to actually trying to speak with someone it's a different story. I had the same issue when I went to Quebec, Canada. I had been learning French (still am. It's currently my main focus for language learning, with Japanese second in priority) but when it came to ordering food and stuff, I kinda froze up. I managed to force myself to say some basic words and phrases and it turned out ok.
I understand some topics pretty well but I need to do more listening practice to slow down the language in my head. Thats what got me.
