RE: About Jerry Banfield and @mrviquez
I never liked the dude that much. When I first saw him, I felt that he was a shady/scammy type of guy from the way that he spoke on video. People were calling it passion/enthusiasm but I didn't buy into that.
He doesn't seem to care a lot about others and has proposed numerous scammy sounding shit to earn money. I remember many months ago he had some other proposal where you pay him 50SBD a month and you will have a good chance of getting upvoted regularly.
I don't really care about that video he posted recently. We're all fucked up.
What I don't like is how he consistently posts garbage ways to get people's money and then every time he gets called out on it, he posts an "apology" about how he didn't know and then his future posts are of him and his daughters or dogs to try and repair his image.
His Steemit YouTube ad was pretty trash. I don't like how he speaks in videos and whatever he says sounds like a scam.
Yeah I certainly understand your position. Certain stuff he would say early on I figured he was just a "lovable nerd guy" that sometimes fucks up and doesn't know any better. LOL
But the more times he did what you are saying. Screwing up and then apologizing it sort of got to where it was like..... come on dude. You can't be this oblivious.
That is so funny how you say he posts pics of his family and dog to repair his image. I noticed that as well and also he will resteem a bunch of stuff as well to get away from the fuck up post. LOL
I also agree with you on one of the STEEM ads that he did he kept saying how STEEM will become #1 and personally I just felt like that was ridiculous at this point for several reasons. If STEEM can ever claw its way back to top 15 I would be really happy about it. There was too much of an unfair distribution from the beginning and also too much down pressure from content creators who need to cash out to live off the money to become #1. Even stuff like Ripple that is centralized and doesn't make sense doesn't have the downward pressure on it so it sort of lingers.
