COMPLAINTS AGAINST GOD

in #jesuslast month

6 THEN MOSES AND AARON SAID TO ALL THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL, “At evening you shall know that the Lord has brought you out of the land of Egypt.
7 And in the morning you shall see the glory of the Lord; for He hears your complaints against the Lord. But what are we, that you complain against us?”
8 Also Moses said, “This shall be seen when the Lord gives you meat to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to the full; FOR THE LORD HEARS YOUR COMPLAINTS WHICH YOU MAKE AGAINST HIM. AND WHAT ARE WE? YOUR COMPLAINTS ARE NOT AGAINST US BUT AGAINST THE LORD."
Exodus 16:6-8 (NKJV)

The complaints of the Israelites against Moses and Aaron were taking personally by God (Exodus 16:12). Moses made them realize that their complaints were made against God and not against him, Moses and Aaron, perse (Exodus 16:7,8).

If you are under a ministry leader, do not murmur or complain about whatever he or she is being led to do by God. If you did, God would take it personally. An affront, insult or disrespect, against a ministry leader is an affront against God! When you challenged or confronted your leader, pastor or whoever is having spiritual authority over your life, you are indirectly challenging God Who puts him or her in that position or office: "CONSEQUENTLY, WHOEVER REBELS AGAINST THE AUTHORITY IS REBELLING AGAINST WHAT GOD HAS INSTITUTED, AND THOSE WHO DO SO WILL BRING JUDGMENT ON THEMSELVES" (Romans 13:2 NIV).

The Israelites complaints against Moses and Aaron were taking personally by God because It was indirectly against Him Who puts Moses in that position of authority. Thus, If you had done that in the past and you are still doing it, repent and change now. If however you changed not, the consequences might not be palatable.

God will defend His anointing on His servants. You should know and understand how to relate with your leaders, whoever in a position of authority over your life. If you are lacking in understanding on how to relate with those who have spiritual authority over your life, you might put yourself in the list or category of those who are disfavoured by God (1 Thessalonians 5:12,13; Hebrews 13:17).

If you are guilty of what is being shared here, may be you have been despising your spiritual parents in the past or you are still doing it, I will enjoin you to repent and go and right your wrongs.
If you could not reach or get access to your leader or pastor you did it to, ask for God's mercy. Believe that you are forgiven and never go back into it again.
Peace.
