Homemade Tomato and Garlic Ketchup

Today I am here to participate in the challenge of making ketchup at home organized by @afzalqamar. If you want to join then:

I have learnt complete recipe and steps to make herbal ketchup with garlic at home. Here are the required ingredients which I will use to prepare homemade ketchup with garlic.
- Tomatoes 250 grams
- Garlic 2 pieces
- Vinegar 2 spoons
- Sugar 4 spoons
- Salt 1/2 spoons
- Chilli powder 1/2 spoons
- Water 2 spoons

I have taken all these ingredients at one place. Now I will start next process to make garlic ketchup.

First of all to ensure health and safety I have washed the tomatoes with water. All the dust particles were removed from the tomatoes. These are the fresh tomatoes.

We can bake tomatoes in full form but to make baking easy and fast we need to cut them or mash them into smaller slices. I have cut the tomatoes into small vertical pieces. The fresh tomatoes are looking amazing.

In order to start the preparation of the garlic ketchup I have started baking tomatoes in the pan. I spread the slices of tomatoes in the pan.
I started baking 250 tomatoes in the pan so I added two spoons of water in it. This water will help in baking the tomatoes in the pan without burning. I deed tomatoes are also full of water but small quantity of water is necessary.
As this is the garlic Ketchup so it cannot be completed without the addition of garlics. According to the quantity of tomatoes I added two individual pie es of garlics in the pan. These will also be baked with tomatoes.

I baked tomatoes and garlics with water with very light flame to avoid burning. I baked them continuously until they tomatoes and garlic became soft. We can see the tomatoes are looking soft and complete baked.

In order to make homogenous mixture of tomatoes and garlic I have added baked tomatoes and garlics in the blender. I added some quantity of water for the easy blending of the tomatoes and garlics.

After blending the tomatoes and garlics in the blender I have filtered out the liquid extract from the paste to remove the thick peels and seeds of tomatoes.

After filtering the liquid extract from the blend paste it is the time to bake the liquid with sugar, salt, chilli, and vinegar. This is the final stage. I have added 2 spoons of vinegar in the liquid.

After carefully baking it at the final steps I have become able to make garlic ketchup at home. It is thick like the market ketchup. When in the final stage I was baking it, it was not becoming thick but after baking fir some moments I stopped baking it and I gave it some rest. When it became cold it became cold and had a good colour.

I was very conscious whether I will be able to make ketchup for the first time or not but finally I did it.

No, I did not face any difficulty in the preparation of the ketchup at home. No don't it was a bit tricky for me because of first time but I did everything finely. All credit goes to the professor who taught step by step preparation.
What do you say about the taste and freshness of the homemade ketchup which you have prepared as compared to the market ketchup?
I am very happy to have this homemade fresh and healthy ketchup. Ketchup is used a lot at my home and we use market ketchup. We have not tried making ketchup at home before but after making this I got a wonderful fresh and tasty ketchup free from the chemicals.
Now I can easily make fresh and tasty ketchup at home free from the chemicals. After making this I taste it and it was wonderful. Then I made slices with this ketchup and it added a good taste in those slices.
