SC27 Week 02 - Homemade Tomato🍅 and Basil Ketchup.
List all the ingredients used in making herbal basil tomato ketchup along with their correct quantities. (2 marks)
The ingredients I am using are as follows.

Write the complete step-by-step method of making herbal basil tomato ketchup from washing to the final cooking.(4 marks)
Let's start making homemade ketchup with herb.
In first step I take half kg tomatoes wash and clean it, cut it and removed the tomatoes which were not looking healthy, the quantity was further reduced as few were no given good smelling, that's why I reduced the amount of all things with this, after that I chopped them added in kettle. I added little water and cooked it for ten minutes until it was done completely.

I used the blender jug for blending it and then stain it. I keep it aside then take pan added one tsp of oil cooked it then added one clove and cinnamon cooked it for a while.

Then I added tomato pulp and cooked it for a while then added all ingredients such as salt, red chilli ,black pepper, jaggery and cooked it until done. Now I turned off flame added chopped basil leaves and kept at flame. Then I stain and removed the extra things. It was ready to serve.

Explain any three herbal health benefits of basil
tomato ketchup. (2 marks)
It's very healthy if we used the basil tomato ketchup.
Basil tomato ketchup is good for heart health due to enriched of antioxidant properties and the presence of lycopene and vitamin C in the tomato is good antioxidant property while the basil leaves are good sources for anti-inflammatory property but also for the antioxidant it can boost immune system to combat against diseases.
It's good for digestive system boost the process of digestion and reduce the affect of the bloating so we can say it improves the smooth functioning of the stomach and also aids in digestion.
If we take in moderate amount the tomato basil ketchup can be very helpful for reducing the stress and anxiety and helpful in stabilise the blood sugar it doesn't enhanced the sugar content.
So in short the presence of tomato and basil both are rich in nutrition and healthy for good lifestyle especially it's good impact on immunity and digestion.
