Homemade Tomato and Basil Ketchup
Hello everyone!

Today I am here to participate in the challenge of making ketchup at home organized by @afzalqamar. If you want to join then:
Here are all the ingredients required to make ketchup:
- Tomatoes 500 grams
- Some Basil Leaves
- Chilli Powder 1/2 spoon
- Salt 1/2 spoon
- Clove 2
- Cinnamon 2 pieces
- Oil 2 spoons
- Black pepper 1/2 spoon
- Vinegar 1/4 cup
- Jaggery 1/8 kg
Here is the complete process to make this basil herbal ketchup at home.

I have collected all the initial ingredients to start making the ketchup.

I cut the tomatoes into round pieces. Then I started baking the tomatoes pieces until they became soft and their juice came out of them.

Tomatoes became very soft and then I started grinding them in the blender. I grinded it completely untill it became very smooth.
After this I filtered it and removed the extra peels which were not mixed in the paste. Now next process will start from now on.

I have taken two spoons oil in the pan to fry cinnamon and cloves for sometime. They became brown and I stopped them frying.

After frying cinnamon and cloves in oil I added the filtered paste in the pan. I starting baking it on low flame again.
I added other required ingredients such as vinegar, salt, chilli powder, black pepper powder. These things will bring a good taste to the ketchup.

I crushed jaggery into small pieces so that it could dissolve easily. Then I have added that jaggery crush into the ketchup paste and it went towards its final stage.

When all the ingredients and jaggery dissolved complete in the paste I added leaves in it. I placed leaves on the top and then I covered it and baked it at very light flame.

I filtered the paste again to remove the leaves cinnamon, and cloves from the final product.
