내일 중요한 시험이 있다. 올해 1월에 합격했던 1종 보통 운전면허시험 때와 비슷한 긴장감이다. 그때도 그랬지만, 결과야 어떻게 나오든 일단 주어진 시간이나 최대한 활용해보자는 마음이다. 마지막 한 주는 평소보다 더 많은 시간을 투자하고 있다. 글을 쓰고 싶은 시간도, 그림을 그리고 싶은 시간도, 책을 읽고 싶은 시간도 아끼고 아껴서 비축해두는 중. 모래가 무너지지 않기를 바라며!

Morgen steht eine wichtige Prüfung an. Es fühlt sich ähnlich angespannt an wie damals im Januar, als ich die Führerscheinprüfung der Klasse B bestanden habe. Wie auch damals sage ich mir: Egal, wie es ausgeht – ich will die mir gegebene Zeit bestmöglich nutzen. In dieser letzten Woche investiere ich mehr Zeit als sonst. Ich verzichte bewusst auf Momente, in denen ich sonst schreiben, zeichnen oder lesen würde – und spare sie mir für später auf. Ich hoffe nur, dass der Sand unter mir nicht einstürzt.

I have an important exam tomorrow. It feels like the same kind of tension I had back in January when I passed the regular Class 1 driver’s license test. Just like then, I’m reminding myself to make the most of my time, whatever the outcome may be.
This final week, I’ve been investing more time than usual. I’m setting aside my desire to write, draw, or read—saving up those moments instead. Hoping the sand doesn’t collapse beneath me!
