The Dairy Game: A Rainy Day Tales(04-08-2025)

Good evening everyone, how are you? How's the weather over there? It's been raining cat and dog here for some days now and today wasn't an exemption. I am Blessing Isong, known here as @blezisong. I'm a newcomer on the platform who's trying to explore the communities and the people in them. I'm open to making new friends as I'm a lovable person, it's a pleasure to be part of you beautiful ladies, Do well to welcome and treat me well.

Today started in an unconventional way, it began with rain and that's what pulled me out of bed. I rushed out to place rubber in the areas where my roofed leaked and went back to bed when I was done. I was on bed till when the rain stopped, I went out to withdraw cash from a POS center close to my house so I could run my day with it.

For the first time I got clean notes from this center, their notes are always dirty and old looking but it wasn't so today which indicates change. Maybe they've upgraded or some sort or maybe just maybe today's their lucky day. I left with my cash and went back home to think on what to eat for today, I'm someone that don't repeat meals except e get as e be. It was a long hour of thought and I couldn't decide on what to eat for breakfast so I did my chores, had my bath and relaxed to calm myself first maybe in that way, I might know what to eat.

In the afternoon, I took my gas cylinder out for refill. I was out of gas in the morning when I boiled water for tea, I got to the gas station and dropped my cylinder, told the attendant how many kilo I needed and relaxed while he did his job. I took the gas back home and made a list of the few items I wanted to buy from the market, I love soups with swallow and with the different types of soups we have in my state, you can't get tired of eating it. Today's own is one of my favorite delicacy called editan but most people don't like it because of the slight bitterness it comes with though they fail to appreciate the nutritious part of it.

I stepped out to the market to purchase the items I had listed out and when I came back, I began to prepare the meal. Too bad, I have no one to assist and I wasn't very fast with the preparation. This particular soup requires special preparation and one needs to be careful while preparing it in order not to add excess bicarbonate. I washed the vegetable after bring it down from the fire and cooked the proteins and added other ingredients before the vegetable lastly.

All I did thought out the evening was relaxation, and around some minutes past 7pm, I stepped out to charge my phone at my friend's shop and when it was fully charged, I unplugged it and went back home. Since I was onboarded on this platform, I became aware that my typical day isn't complete without making a blog about my activities and that's the reason I came on here to drop my tales about the day's activities and as soon as I'm done, I'll be going to bed.
