The Diary Game: Helping Hubby In The Laundry Workshop (19-09-2025)

Okay, so today my hubby told me he was thinking of how he was going to wash the dirty clothes in his workshop. I totally understood him because I have not been helping as much as I should this week. So I told him I will be coming to workshop to help him out, you could see the sigh of relief he had and I felt it too. So when we got to the workshop, I selected the few clothes I could wash and began to wash them while hubby was busy keeping the place tidied.

As I was washing, I was giving it to him to hang for me because I am not that tall to reach where he hangs the clothes. When I finished the first clothes I choosed, I packed another one and washed them while he took the washing machine to wash the heavy clothes. When I saw that the clothes had gone down and he could handle the remaining, I went back home to cook.

When I got back to the house, I removed the fish in the freezer and steamed it so I could prepare soup with it. I told my hubby to buy something he could eat for breakfast because I wasn't going to finish cooking early.

When I finished cooking my rice in the afternoon, I ate it and my hands were hurting because of the stress I was already in that morning. I can see why my hubby has been complaining of pains in his hands, quite well, I had a first hand experience today. Somehow, I think we haven't been giving men their credit enough because today's experience has really made me appreciate my hubby the more. He would go through all those pains and still come back home to help me with chores then he will still give out his entire money for the family upkeep, God bless my hubby.

I took a rest by 4pm, And when I woke up, I went to the workshop to help my hubby with ironing because definitely, he was going to iron the clothes by 5 as that is always the best time for him to iron clothes, according to him. This was me on my way to the shop. He did not allow me help him so I had to go to the farm to know how the chicken had been doing after I gave them the medication last time.

When I came back from the farm, I warmed the rice again and ate then kept the rest for hubby. When do he came back home looking tired, I served him his dinner and when he finished eating, I took my bath and came to share my day before retiring to bed for today.
