The Diary Game: Waking Up With A Smile On My Face And Other Engagements {20-09-2025)

There are certain days I would still want to replay over and over again. One of those days is today and I would love to experience a more better today as there was no stress.

You can't catch me sad or murmuring even when I am extremely angry, no, I prefer to smile over any situation than squeeze my face like the whole world is on me, it doesn't make sense to me and that is why no matter what I do, I try as much as I can to smile that was why I woke up today again smiling because I am among the living.

When I stood up, I went to my mommy to ask her what was for breakfast and she told me we should cook beans and eat it with boiled ripe plantain. That seemed to have been a very nice idea so I immediately went to the kitchen and prepared porridge beans and boiled the ripened plantain then I dished for myself and dished for my parents as well.

My daddy couldn't eat much of it but mommy ate everything and asked for extra more plate of the food. I dished it to her and when she finished eating, she brought out clothes so we can wash together. She didn't go to the market today so she had time for herself. I helped her wash the clothes and when I was done, I took my bath and had a little beautiful nap.

When I woke up from my nap. I was bored at home so I decided to go out and stay with the workers that were constructing a church just opposite our house. I wonder how they take so much risk to climb the scaffold and still stay there to receive blocks and then construct the house. I give it to them.

I stayed with the workers till evening when it was time for me to go to church for rehearsals and after I came back from my rehearsal. I was so hungry and the beans I cooked in the morning did not last till evening so I bought a groundnut, bread and that is the first time I will be eating something of this nature.

When I finished eating, I took my bath and went to my bed so I can comfortably stay and share my diary before going to bed. Right now, I am leaving the online space right away and will be hoping it to be back here as early as tomorrow morning. Do have a lovely day.
