Tell Your Story #52 – A House Lost to Blind Trust

Hello Everyone !

I am @hudamalik20 from Pakistan. I hope you all are doing great in your life. Today, I am participating in this contest Tell your story#52 organized by @ruthjoe in Ladies Universe.

I want to share a real story that happened recently with my mother’s close friends. It’s not a made-up tale it really happened.

So, there were two sisters. The elder sister never got married and used to stitch clothes at home to earn a living. The younger sister had done a love marriage. They also had a brother, and all three siblings lived together. Later, their brother also got married, but things didn’t go well.

The sisters didn’t get along with their new sister-in-law. There were daily arguments and tensions in the house. Slowly, even the brother and his wife started fighting, and they eventually got separated. The brother believed his sisters were the reason behind the divorce.

Later, the brother decided to go abroad. Even after leaving, he used to send money to his sisters every month. He didn’t earn a lot, but he still sent whatever he could. Still, the sisters kept complaining that the money wasn’t enough. They even spoke badly about him to others.

One day, the brother got tired of their behavior and stopped sending money for a month. The sisters got really worried. They even started asking neighbors for money to manage expenses.

At the same time, a new guy moved into the house right in front of theirs. He was young and seemed rich. He had a nice car and a well furnished house. When the sisters saw his lifestyle, they started going to his house.

They began cooking nice food for him, visiting his home often, and even doing some house chores for him. He also treated them well he bought food from outside, shared it with them, and started helping them with groceries and money.

He told them that he considered them like sisters. Slowly, he earned their full trust. One day, he suggested that they sell their house. He said it wasn’t good anymore and promised that he would add money from his savings to help them buy a better house in the city. The sisters happily agreed and sold their house. All the money was transferred to that guy’s bank account.

He rented a beautiful house for them temporarily and told them that soon he would arrange a permanent home. For two months, everything was fine. He was still helping them. But suddenly, he stopped answering their calls and replying to their messages. When they tried to call him, he would cut the call and say, “I’m busy.”

Then the third month came, and the landlord of the rented house asked the sisters to pay the rent. They said, “The guy who promised us everything is supposed to pay.” But when they tried to contact him, he didn’t respond.

Worried and afraid, the sisters went to his house. At first, he didn’t even open the door. Later, when he did, he shouted at them and said he never took their money.

He told them, “You sold the house yourself! I don’t have your money!” The sisters were shocked. They had trusted him with everything and now he was pretending like nothing had happened.

They came back home crying and told my mother everything. My mother advised them to go to the police. They went to the police station, but unfortunately, they didn’t have any written proof, documents, or house papers. Everything had been given to the man without any legal agreement. The police said they couldn’t help without proof.

After all this, the sisters contacted their brother again. He forgave them and helped them rent a small house. He started sending money again, even though his income wasn’t great. Now the sisters live in that small house, and many kind people also help them from time to time. They still come to visit us and talk to my mother often.

This is something that really happened recently, and it left a big impact on everyone who knows them.

That's it from today’s blog. I hope you liked it. With best wishes. Now I would like to invite:

Hi, I think family members are more trustworthy than strangers with money, nice post my friend.😃

Thank you so much. Yes, you’re absolutely right family should always come first, and trusting strangers blindly can be risky. Glad you liked the post.

Your story about the two sisters and their unfortunate experience with blind trust is a powerful reminder about the importance of caution and discernment when dealing with others, especially strangers. The way you've woven the narrative, highlighting the sisters' vulnerability and the manipulator's cunning, makes for a compelling read. It's heartbreaking to see how the sisters' trust was exploited, leading to them losing their home and facing financial difficulties. However, it's also uplifting to see the brother's eventual forgiveness and support, which shows that family bonds can be strong and resilient.Your storytelling skills are engaging, and you've done a great job of conveying the emotional depth of the situation.
