Today, I want to share a very sad and emotional story that was discovered just three days ago. When I heard it, I was deeply shocked. It reminded me how busy we have become in our lives so much that we don’t even notice if someone around us is missing or suffering.

This is the story of an actress named Humaira Asghar. She came from a very educated and respected family. Her father was a doctor in the army, and her brother is a successful businessman.

But when Humara decided to choose acting and modeling as her career, her family didn’t support her at all. In fact, they asked her to leave the house.

Even though she was heartbroken, she followed her dreams. She moved out and started living on her own. Over the next seven years, she worked hard in the entertainment industry.

She modeled, walked in fashion shows, and acted in several dramas. She also participated in a reality show called Tamasha, where she played a strong character and impressed everyone with her confidence and personality.

But after that, she slowly disappeared from the public eye. Her last social media post was in September, and then nothing. Nobody noticed her silence. Not her friends, not her fans, and not even her own family.

Then, just three days ago, something horrifying came to light. After months of no response and unpaid rent, her landlord decided to visit her apartment with the police not to check on her wel beeing, but to throw out her belongings and empty the flat. He believed she had simply abandoned the place. But when they opened the door, what they found was heartbreaking.

Inside her apartment, in a room where she used to paint and do calligraphy, Humaira’s lifeless body was lying on the floor. It was in a terrible condition completely decayed. Insects had eaten parts of her body. Her remains showed that she had been dead for a long time, but no one had even noticed.

The police immediately called an ambulance and took her body to the morgue. They contacted her family, but her parents refused to accept her body. They said she had left them years ago and they had nothing to do with her anymore.

This part truly broke my heart. Even after death, her own family turned away from her. How can parents do this to their child, just because she followed her dreams?

When the news broke on social media, people were shocked and angry. Everyone started asking, “How could this happen?” People questioned how no friend, follower, or family member ever checked on her all these months. Her phone number was still active. Her social media accounts were still there. But no one reached out.

Due to public pressure, her brother came after two days to collect the body. But even then, he kept saying that she had cut ties with the family. Her father said he couldn’t travel from Lahore to Karachi, so she should be buried there.

Before the burial, a forensic report revealed that she had died around 6 to 7 months ago, most likely alone in that apartment. This means her body remained there for months through Ramadan, two Eids, and many important days but no one even noticed her absence. The neighbors said they had been out of the country and didn’t know what had happened.

This story really made me emotional. When she was alive and visible, everyone admired her beauty and talent. But when she disappeared, no one cared. Not her family. Not her friends. Not her followers.

Finally, her funeral was done with her brother present. But many people believe they only came because of social media pressure. What kind of world are we living in, where someone can die and no one notices for months?

I pray that Allah grants her peace and forgiveness. May she rest in peace. Ameen.🤲
