World' Mother's Day Celebration at Home

Today, May 11, the world is celebrating Mother's Day to all mothers. We have different ways of celebrating this once in a year recognition for our hardworking and loving mothers. This is my 3rd year celebrating mother's day for myself.

We simply celebrate it in our house because my sister called me that she will cook at home for this celebration. While we are in the fellowship house, my sister prepared the foods for our dinner. When I arrived home, I also.prepared a cucumber lemonade juice. I wasn't able to take a photo because I forgot it. I prefer healthy juices than soda drinks.

She is good in cooking and is improving everyday. But for today's celebration, she choose seafoods and pork soup. I am very happy because I like shrimp. The shrimp has also other seafoods which I found it a unique recipe. Actually, I really like this food, but I got easily full. My diet is pause for awhile and I regret it a little bit.

At 4pm we started singing karaoke songs. My husband prepared it. While waiting for the other family members, we enjoyed singing. We also had a picture taking as a remembrance of our celebration today.

When everything is ready, we settle down to pray for the dinner before we eat. I led the prayer. My sister bought a cake for us and I like it because it's not so sweet, just enough.

I am very happy and thankful to the Almighty for letting me experienced motherhood in my lifetime. It's not easy to be a mother, but many times we feel happy in this title.
