Hello steemit family, how are you all? I guess you are doing very fine. I am great also. I wish for you all Love, Peace, Good health and Abundant blessings.

In our daily lives we do different things and we do snap pictures to create our different stories with. That's why I always share with you my activities and memories with some photographs which I believe you always enjoy reading and like my pictorial stories.

On Sunday, 6th July, 2025, After attending church service, I headed back to my house, changed my clothes and took my bath, freshened up and then entered the kitchen to start cooking one of my favourite delicacies, Afang soup! I made sure to take proper documentation of every step of the process, snapping photos along the way, and I'm excited to share them with you. I hope you like the pictures.

As you may know, Afang soup can be prepared using various ingredients, such as water leaf, melon, or some people prefer cooking with banga (palm fruits). I chose to use water leaf, which is a popular choice in Nigeria, where I'm from.

Afang soup holds a special place in our culture, often served at ceremonies and special occasions to entertain guests. However, it's also a staple in many Nigerian homes, including mine. As a teacher, I don't have all the time in week days to cook because of that nature of my job, hence I like to prepare meals like Afang soup on the weekends and preserve in my freezer, which I can then enjoy throughout the week with some stew and other accompaniments.

To make my delicious Afang soup, I used a variety of condiments, including stock fish, meat, dry fish, grayfish, palm oil, periwinkle, and more. The aroma that filled my kitchen was incredible.

Once the soup was ready, I prepared some garri (also known as eba) to enjoy with my meal. Sharing this moment with my little son, Princewill, made it even more special.

I took photos of every step, from preparation to the final meal, to cherish the memories and share them with you. I hope you've enjoyed reading about my Sunday cooking adventure.
