Is It Proper To Take On 50/50 Bills With Your Partner?(21-09-2025)

Hello everyone, trust you're good? @purpleidy23 is here with her blog and it's not necessarily a diary game today. I want you all to educate me on something because I seem to lack behind in it. Earlier today, I saw a post somewhere which says "I will work, provide same way as you do but I'll be the only one doing all the chores and child rearing? Lol, peace be into those who do! It caught my attention and I had to go through the comment section to read people's opinions on it especially the ladies.

I saw a comment I like because it aligns with my perspective, the comment says "I will not sacrifice my body to birth kids and still share bills 50/50, no way! It's more like doing your part and still taking on 50% of the man's responsibilities, I can only support in little ways and spoil my kids with my money. Take on your responsibilities, guy!" I felt like reacting a million time on the comment and even had to share it to my WhatsApp status with the caption, "I like the mental shift" and almost all the men on my contact are coming at me for making the post, they seem to be against my opinion with the talk I'm not really ready for marriage.

My Steemit family, please I need your enlightenment on this topic. Why I decide to bring it here is because I have well educated, married and experienced couples here. Even singles who knows what's right and wrong and stands by the truth. I know that truth hurts but I genuinely accept it as long as it's the truth and it's not biased. Is it proper for a lady to take on 50/50 bills with her partner while still rearing the children and taking care of the home?

I made my points clear that I can't though supporting in little ways won't hurt but I was tagged and extremist on the opposite gender matters. Pardon me, but right now I just need clarity. I'd like to invite this great Ladies, I call them my big sister on this space whom I look up to @ruthjoe, @ulfatulrahmah @alexanderpeace to please help me out by sharing their quota on this and also educating me on this topic. Thank you all for reading, I'm awaiting your kind response.

Thank You For Engaging 🌹
