The Diary Game: Attending A Traditional Marriage & Wedding Ceremony And Other Engagements 20/09/2025/

Greetings to you all, my fellow Steemians in the community. It's a pleasure that I woke up in a good mood, and I thank God for everything.
I would like to share with you my diary game of Saturday, 20/09/2025.

In the morning, I was at home doing my morning routine, sweeping the compound, washing my clothes, and preparing for the traditional marriage & wedding ceremony of a friend.
So that morning I tried to prepare my breakfast; I cooked plantains and cooked it, buying 3 ingredients that I didn't have at home.
When I finished cooking, I ate it and also prepared myself to go for the ceremony.
It was a wonderful day, as two things were done in one day.

In the noon time was the preparation for the traditional marriage before the wedding that comes up in the evening. I was very ready for the event. So I first go for the traditional marriage, which took place in the afternoon, because in my traditional setting, the real marriage is the traditional marriage, where both parents come together and join their hands in giving out their son and daughter's hand in marriage.

The bride and groom were dressed in traditional attire, which made them look traditional.
This particular one lasted for 3 hours, friends. Loved ones were around to celebrate with them, as both parents were so happy to see their children going for a new home. Both families pray for their children.

In the evening was the traditional marriage at one of the Church Auditoriums, Christ Redemption Church Of God. It was a great celebration as both families were finally gathered, and friends also gathered to witness the white wedding of the bride and groom as they wed and became husband and wife.
After that celebration of marriage and signing of the marriage register
I left the event center because of my distance. I paid my way home, and at home, I discovered that there was no water. I went to fetch water, at least to take my bath and sleep, but there was no water, as the borehole tap had spoiled.

I went back and used the small water and took my bath; after that moment, I ate my dinner and relaxed, pending when sleep would come.

Summary Of The Day's Diary Activities: It was a great day for me as I went to the marriage celebration of my friends. The marriage was a complete victory as the children of the two families from different communities were joined in marriage. I also have time to work for myself; that was a great one for the day.
