Contest "Tell your story #63"

It is autumn time and looking around us, many of our friends, colleagues, family members time to time have some cough, temperature and cough. I actually had myself about 2 weeks ago and it was from my friend. I did not have any viral infection since last year. Somehow my family members and friends were lucky too. This time almost everyone in my family had viral infection, one after another. I think one of us brought home and usually we have gathering on weekend and it is the time when we give hug and kiss to each other, especially our parents and also we sit for a while having together meal and also chat a lot and that is the environment when any infection can be easily passed from one to another.
Every year, we also have a big advertisement of Flu vaccine, it is announced in flyers, we see posters on the wall of Universities and also when visiting our GP surgery we can see the information about the importance of prevention so that we not only get ill ourselves but also we protect our family members, especially our grandparents who are very vulnerable to any infection and usually they recover more difficult than us. In young age our immune system help us to recover quickly but I remember my grandfather who were coughing for about 2 months after his chest infection.
Flue vaccine is something that I sometimes do and other time I do not. The reasons can be different I might forget about or I maybe not at the place where and when the vaccination is taking place. Last year I did not have vaccine and I was lucky. This time I thought to have one because I see that this year there are many more people who have cough and temperature. Who knows if they have Flu or not but it is better to be sure and if after vaccination I still have Flu infection then I can only say, that I tried to protect myself and take the measurement. The future nobody can predict and prevent.
