Re-united after two years
Hello my dear Steemians,
After waiting for two years for the family members of hostages who were kidnapped during the music festival the day today is a great holiday. I think for this moment many will forget everything around and just enjoy seeing again their children, siblings partners and also to take them in arms.
It is a horrible act that human do against human to take in captivity, to hunger them, to torture. During this time there were some photographs of videos of some of them where they were looking malnourished, you could see only skin and bones. The reflection of their eyes was completely different from how they were before. You probably noticed all those who were released today they were young, strong and healthy men that is why their bodies were able to tolerate that and survive.
I am really glad that after all this time the Hamas fighters decided to go for this step. I believe a bit longer they may loose these people and then definitely the civil population of Palestinian who just live in Gaza would be definitely killed either due to attack of Israeli army or starvation.
The world is crazy, people still think that with wars we can reach win and gain peace but for what price?
I think if people will put themselves on the place of those hostages or parents their fathers and mothers they probably will re-consider what they are doing. At least I hope so, we have to have compassion, kindness and humanity to others if we want our human race to survive.
