I think they're a psy-op set up by SteemIt Inc.

After all, this dude opened his account 2 days after the start of the Blockchain, he was given a lot of Steem while others had to buy it, a month after he opened the account he was already making enemies.

And let's not forget how this guy can do what no other user can, which is, editing a post by replacing the original transaction.

You can see here that this post was edited, but there is No Edit History.
