Memory of a cozy evening
This is a memory of some couple of months back while I was in Mumbai. We had gone to one of our religious places, it is far off from the city, so we had a overnight stay planned. While morning was busy with prayers and rituals, evening time was all leisure. At the place where we had put up, near to that is a lake, where they have fun and entertainment activities, which, one of them is boating. Hubby is a fan of boating, whenever he gets an opportunity, he makes sure that we do it. Even I enjoy it, but I prefer the sea which also means a speed boat and preferably during day time.
The lake here is not very big, it's a very small one, very thoughtfully they have made a resort around it, which offers stay and dining options. We did not stay here, because I prefer to stay near the Temple area so that I can visit it with convenience multiple times. These mini trips are fun but also exhausting. This one we had started from home at 5 a.m. because our train was at 6 and if we would miss then the next one would be straight at 10 which would become very late.
I enjoy these mini retreats with just the 2 of us.
The best attraction of this place was the fountain, it's nothing very exclusive, it's simple and elegant, I like the reflections of it in the water and the spot lights around the lake.
Nothing much fancy but still a very joyful experience. We did the boating as well and enjoyed our evening.
