This is Life and Humanity curation team - The Optimum Seven, reporting their first week of curatorial activities. It's been exactly one week since we were handed over the @steemcurator08 account to perfrom curation among the Life and Humanity theme with the help of #thediarygame and #actofkindess tags.

I along with my team (@anroja, @disconnect, @ngoenyi, @olesia, @saracampero, @svm038) took turns everyday to do this task. Creating a suitable timetable for all was bit of a work as we all are from different time zones. After two days into the curation, I figured out flexible hours that suited all of us better and now we are settled into a routine.

Among the two tags that we check, #thediarygame is the widely used tag on Steemit so posts are coming in every few minutes. But my efficient and dedicated team members spend some time and check all posts to ensure that no quality and rule abiding post is ignored.

First we check club status of the author. If he's eligible then we rule out use of bid-bots, any kind of plagiarism and make sure the content is exclusive to Steemit. Then we read the post and only if it is of good quality then choose it for curation.

We also try to curate as many unique authors as we can so we make sure that no author is curated more than twice a week. Also, to use the account efficiently, we collect links for curation before time and as soon as the account gets full, we start voting to avoid any waste of voting power
