RE: Day off !
Some days I love going through resumes. Other times I just trash them. I really missed my calling. Sometimes I just want to bring all these morons in to teach them how to write a proper resume. Your absolutely right.. is it that hard to create a new email address that’s not hotmama69@juno.com?? Yea, I said Juno. Lol. I don’t have the time to help people with this. I scratch my head sometimes. I find millennials are the worst. I have had a few say they don’t want an entry level position. They are ready to manage now. Hahahahaha. Okay. Entertaining to say the least.
I can’t remember the name of the pond, the one with all the little sail boats?? I like sitting there watching them silently float around. :-)
Well I was told the other day I am considered a millennial ( I’m 38) technically, but I do not consider myself one. I have too much common sense to be one ... lol .
Conservatory water ? By 72nd street I think.
Yes!! That's It!! Conservatory Water... Thanks :-)
Hmmmm... Tha's right, we also have the Genx's. Most of the people that are not showing up for the interview or are late (at which point I tell them to just leave) are probably in the 24-35 age range. The ones that do arrive to fill out applications have trouble with a basic skills test. I am also so surprised by the lack of resume writing skills. It's awesome when they write in mostly acronyms.. ugggg. :-/
I didn't have this problem last year or two. This year its even hard to find people to apply for the job (hands on trade type position). It's listed as and pay starts at roughly 40-45k .. still nothing good. I used to get 500-800 resumes in a week or two, now just 100 or so. Damn Amazon! hehe.
