I really hope so too, unfortunately its going to take years to restore the water supply to sustainable levels. The recent drought has really taken its toll and the population increase in Cape Town is far exceeding the amount of dam storage available. From what I have read not much has been done to address this issue.
There have been suggestions about brining a desalination ship down to Cape Town and anchoring of the coast. The desalinated water will then been fed into the water system. Once it gets to life line supply, certain parts of the city will be cut off from the water supply and water tankers will be brought in.

Thanks bud :)
We had a similar situation 10 years ago here in South Queensland. Then it rained and rained and flooded. I hope your rain comes soon.

So what will happen when the water runs out in a few months?
Is there no other source?
