Chapter one of Cor II is nearly complete!

Chapter one of Cor II is nearly complete and I'm pretty happy about where it's at. If you guys don't know, I am writing a story about a fictional world that mixes modern technology with fantasy magic. The story is generally about power, honor, friendship, tragedy and war.

Cor II is currently being written and I plan on making it much longer than the first story. The first story, Cor I, served as the first step into the world of Cor. It was deliberately written to be short to get people into the general themes of the world without getting too deeply involved with its complex history. Each main title introduces some key characters that help shape the narrative, and each main title will be accompanied by a short story which expands on the origins of some of these characters. The intent here is to share the world and be methodical on which characters get a spotlight.

The first chapter of Cor II introduces new locations, and some side characters that help drive the plot, but there are moments that return to previously known characters. It's still being worked on, and I still need to fix some dialogue spots, but I'm already around 10,000 words in and I'm liking what I got so far!
