ITALIAN WALL PLAQUES
You can see plaques like this one all over houses and walls in Venice and Florence. I have many pictures of them and will be posting them so you can see how varied they are. I love them.
They probably denote the family crest or perhaps represent the name of the people who live in a particular building. I will learn more and report back.
