Kusha grass
Assalamu Alaikum,
Kusha grass is being sold here, cut into pieces and sold individually. Some people buy just a piece, while others take the whole bundle. They taste quite good, and even better when eaten with whole grains. I sometimes prefer to eat them, though they can be a bit hard to chew, which requires strong teeth.
These are usually cut along with the leaves and then stored against a wall, where they look quite nice. They are selling well in the market, mostly in the morning. Here too, they are sold in the same way. The seller was sitting nearby, and when asked, he would take them out and sell them to the buyers.
