Once you die,
Once you die,
you will be bathed immediately and laid on a hard bed. There will be no soft, fluffy bedding.
You will be kept there for a day
or at most two days. Then you will be burned in a pyre.
Only ashes will remain. Even then, after a few days, they will fly away in the wind, be washed away in water, and be mixed with the ground. Your existence with such and such name has ended forever from this world. You are no more. You will go to another unknown world. Either as a dog, or as a son of a god, or as a resident of hell in a hot fire.
While alive, you want to increase your dominance over many things, this is mine, that is mine. At the time of death, you have to leave everything behind. You cannot take even a single piece with you. If you have done any good in life, then that is the only asset and refuge. By thinking about it in your heart, you can calm your mind and take your last breath. Everything else is loose.
While alive, a person thinks of himself as nothing. But when you die, you are not worth a single penny.
Everyone is afraid to go near him,
and hold their noses, fearing that his rotten smell will enter their noses.
As long as you live, try to live with a sense of humanity like a human being.
Not like an inhuman.
Increase such strength that you can take your last breath without fear, in peace and with firm faith.
That is the real work, the real gain from life.
