RE: ADSactly Life - Fear and Courage
Precise and very enriching post, @josemalavem. I think that our society values bravery more, "titanism", joy, because perhaps the idea of the hero is more attractive and profitable for everyone. Societies are not made for losers, for defeat, or at least we are not prepared for it. But fear is so normal and human that to show them to us "out of fear" is madness. Today I am afraid of the street, yet I must fill myself with courage and get out of my house. Today I'm afraid of delinquency, of supermarket prices and that money won't reach me, fear of not leaving this infamous government in Venezuela, I'm afraid of not being heard or being able to express my opinion, I'm afraid that my life will be taken away; however, every day I go out to fight against the world, scared to death, because fear can't paralyze me. Excellent work, excellent appointment.
Certainly, we are so exposed in our world (and in Venezuela in particular) to so many daily reasons that provoke fears and apprehensions, and yet we are comforted and courageous, because, in the first place, we identify those reasons inside and outside ourselves. The falls, failures and defeats constitute us as individuals and give us a vision of life perhaps more serious, but at the same time humble and attentive. Thank you for your reading and comment, @nancybriti.
