My wife dropped a brand new roll of toilet paper right into the toilet. The water was clean, so she pulled it out and put it on the counter to dry off so we could eventually use it.
That's the best I can come up with to make you feel better.

It's true. I'm a bit of a cheapskate, and my wife knows if I learned she had wasted a WHOLE ROLL of toilet paper, there'd be HECK TO PAY.
