First plastic-free pop-up shop opens in London. When will this become the norm around the world?
Ingrid Caldironi, the CEO of the Hackney plastic-free shop, said she opened it up because she needed one and she couldn't find anything like this anywhere in London. Read more about this here.
I love people like her and I believe we badly need something similar in Romania, where, unfortunately we still pack every-damn thing in a plastic bag.
Hoping positive actions like Ingrid's will inspire other entrepreneurs and people in general to adopt a plastic-free life-style.
I know I have a lot to work on this. I started taking my shopping tote bag in my back pack all the time so I can avoid the plastic bags. But I still buy bulk prepared food that's packed in plastic...
Looking for a solution and a change, in myself and in the shops I buy from.
How do you go about to reduce your plastic use and waste?
Namaste!

This is a nice trend and I hope this becomes more common. What could make shops like this would be if they offered similar prices to what you can buy from their plastic-using competitors.
