Happy 121st Independence Day, Philippines! :-)❤️

Good evening my grateful steemit family. Today is June 12, 2019 our country's 121st Independence Day celebration. I just want to share with you how I celebrated this historical event today.

I praise God because I was assigned to supervise a Job Fair wherein the venue is just within the vicinity. Last year I was assigned to supervise a Job Fair in Ilocos Sur but today the said event's venue is in Union Christian College (UCC), San Fernando City, La Union.

The Job Fair was graced by some prominent people, some are politicians & mostly government officials (with top position).

Our City Vice-Mayor (acting Mayor) came and speak words of encouragement & congratulations for the success of the job fair. It was well attended by mostly local employers. There were 4 licensed recruitment agencies who joined and they recruited a handful of hopeful applicants for overseas employment.

Some local employers were also able to have lists of HOTS (Hired-On-The-Spot) applicants.

I saw some familiar faces both applicants and ex-officemates from the government.

An hour before the end of the Job Fair, I received a text from our neighbor that my mother was rushed to the hospital. I immediately went there to check on them and Praise God because the doctor was still able to accommodate them. One of my office mates came along with me to see my mother. I waited for them to settle back home before going to the pharmacy to buy her medicines. And here I am writing this post to let you know that my mother is doing fine now and she has taken her medicine...Praise God naagapan.

I took some pictures on my way home that I thought of including it here for this timely post. As of this writing, my mother is now fast asleep and so with my youngest who just happened to have fallen from playing outside. My eldest is busy taking photos of some pre-loved clothes that she will sell online. I told her to make use of her summer vacation productively. I on the other hand will continue to blog so that I can earn more for their enrollment. It's tough being a solo parent. I hope & pray that I will also be having my financial freedom starting today.
