One day at a time, until it feels like forever. By that time, it will be anyway.
People take for granted how much work freedom is. It has a very real cost in both money and, ironically, time.
Most people really aren't interested in the sacrifices, uncertainty, and flat-out doggedness you need to be able to spend each day how you choose.
Funny enough, if adderall or modifinil makes you better at your career... you either need a new career entirely or need to get promoted to where it wouldn’t actually make your work easier.
Times change fast and brute force is becoming less valuable.
Fucked up Men become Fucked up Fathers
Fucked up fathers make fucked up sons
Fucked up sons means a fucked up society
Stop fucking around
First unfuck yourself
Then fuck to have sons
The feeling you get from contributing in a personally unique, process focused manner, will make you immune to destructive criticism and petty critique.
You don’t forgive because the person “deserves” it. You don’t forgive because you deserve it.
You forgive because it’s the only way to cure your heart of hatred. Hatred of others and most importantly, of yourself.
People are more likely to enjoy something they’re good at. The only way to get good at something is to spend time being bad at it.
You make mistakes, learn from them, improve, and repeat.
You already have all the info you need
Time to log off Steemit & close the D.Tube tab
Start doing the actual work required to reach your goals.
When you make learning more important than passion, you’re more likely to find something you feel passionately about.
If you only stick with something when it feels good, you’ll spend your life floating from skill to skill.
You’ll be a jack of a trades, but not even moderately skilled at any of them.
If you can't laugh at the problems you had 3 years ago, you aren't moving fast enough.
Until you push past your breaking point, you’ll never know exactly where it’s at.
No one is going to do the work for you, but if you make an effort, people will go out of their way to help you.
When you push past your limit, it humbles you and breaks your ego. But if you can recover, you put yourself in a position to be truly great.
Doing anything less is selling yourself short.
If you can’t stand up for yourself about something you don’t want to do--and you’re the one who suffers the consequences--then your life is only going get more difficult.
A valuable skill for young people to learn is standing fast in the face of societal pressure.
When you change your life for the better you’ll see that:
-Some people can take it
-Some people can’t
-Some are on the fence and sometimes jab too hard when they make fun
While it will be up to you to decide what’s acceptable, never accept anyone who tries to hold you back.
Part of life is making mistakes.
Show me someone who hasn’t pissed a person off or regrets something they’ve done, and I’ll show you someone who hasn’t experienced or accomplished much.
Without conscious decision, followed by definite action, you won’t get anything out of life besides what’s left over--and that’s usually not great.
That's why it remains after the hustlers are finished.
Your progress in life depends on many factors, but the most important one is the ownership of your path.
If you don’t take ownership of yourself and what you want, someone else will and their decision almost certainly won’t be in your favor.
Some people wait for things to get better. Others force the issue.
Guess who things usually work out for.
People getting fit, paying off debt, saving money, starting businesses, starting families, getting organized, taking risks...
2019 is gonna be a big year.
One of the smartest black dudes I've ever come across is Hustler 101 @ hustlehacker
Turned his life around & He's showing fellow humans how he's done it.
Nothing sells faster than a story of how you went from before to after.
You're an inspiration Hustler 🙌✊
Every year is a foundation year for the next.
If you’re doing it right, you should be able to reach a little further every year because you got a little better during the last.
Most of you don't want wealth.
You don't even want to be rich.
You just want to be free.
Life hits hard.
You don’t have to hit back but you do need to learn to roll with the punches.
Do something you love, that you have a talent for, that pays well, and that inspires you. This is your edge.
It's in this place that you're indestructible, most impressive, and will live forever.
A big part of being ready--if not the most important part--is being willing to make the sacrifices, endure the suffering, and do the work.
Most aren’t ready to actually to do what it takes to make a better life.
"If you want to see the greatest threat to your future, go home and look in the mirror.”
When you make it past a significant personal roadblock, you have a karmic debt that can only be repaid by helping others who struggle with the same problem who feel alone.
There is no magic cure for fear. There is simply action. Sometimes the action is voluntary. Other times, it’s forced.
Either way, you receive the benefits you would have forfeited had you given in to the fear.
Blaming outside forces in your life won't magically erase the consequences you have to suffer when you mess up.
Honesty forces you to decide if you REALLY want to fix the problem or if you’re just paying lip service to the sexy idea of "self-improvement."
If you're bored and broke, you're hustling backwards.
That shouldn't even be possible.
It'd be impressive if it weren't so destructive.
Watch how people manage their time.
The worse their time management, the more messed up their life is gonna be.
If they can't manage their time, they'll never be able to make progress or overcome challenges.
Honesty requires strength because it's a stance that it not based on the path of least resistance and preservation.
The only way to win the game is to be willing to lose it.
In this social media age of personal validation through upvotes and resteems, everyone talks about what they're GOING to do instead of actually doing it.
Post results only. Then you've earned the admiration and support.
“To win any battle, you must fight as if you are already dead.”
— Miyamoto Musashi
When you get upvotes and digital support from posting your plans, the validation you get will murder your enthusiasm.
You'll enjoy the feeling of accomplishment so much that you'll never actually accomplish anything.
Sovereign individuals are the only people alive today "immune" from internet mobs
Can't be touched
Can't be silenced
Cant be doxxed
Can't be stopped
You move on them, you get rocked
If you say you value freedom, be willing to do the things that free people do.
A common reason for lack of motivation is that your goals don't excite you. They don't excite you because they aren't what you REALLY want.
No matter how sleazy, selfish, hedonistic or lazy--as long as no one gets hurt--own your goals and feel your motivation surge when you do.
Your lifestyle is a crucial factor in determining the quality of your health & your physique.
It's difficult to be successful with either if you only live for the weekend, or you have a habit of going to fast food restaurants every day.
To have real relationships with people, you need to be able to openly communicate your thoughts and feelings.
The problem the world has now is that people who think differently are now soft-ostracized.
People have forgotten about the power of an honest conversation and instead only search for confirmation of their own view of the world.
Young men,
Show discipline if a girl dumps you. Don't post about her on social media. She loves it. Your haters love it. Man up & shut up.
I know this sounds like a contradiction, but real religious conversion only happens once you can think for yourself and are comfortable with being an outsider.
Only free people can make choices. Everyone else suffers out of obligation and tries to “sour grape” it.
Humans are funny when it comes to acknowledging success that is within their grasp but they have not attained.
No one can do everything. Being limited, by itself, is not a penalty.
You only suffer a penalty when you spend your finite time improving in an area of limitation where it does not asymmetrically provide an advantage.
That which served us greatly at one point may eventually become a burden.
The only intelligent course of action is to cast off the obligation and redouble your efforts where you have greater leverage.
Your time is finite.
If you want to build a life you can simultaneously be proud of and inspires reverence, then you have to figure out where you can exist in the top 20%. Then get there.
Get people in your life who support you. If you don’t have any goals, dreams, or hustle, you can’t complain about this.
But if you do, and you can’t find people to support you, you’re better off alone.
Drilling the basics is how you create fluency.
It’s only when you no longer have to consciously expend energy to perform the rudimentary can you progress to assimilation of the complex.
Struggling to grasp the solution ensures that the solution is yours. It’s a beautiful trophy that no one can take from you.
The work you put it to acquiring the skill is, in many ways, a greater reward than the actual skill you develop.
If you wait until you have everything perfect, you’ll be waiting forever. It’s better to make an attempt and learn from it than to build your experience in your imagination.
You can only level up in reality. Not in your fantasy of perfection.
The internet hasn’t dropped the veils completely, but this is the most truthful era in modern World History.
Fake News was rarely ever disputed. Everybody did and said exactly what The TV God told them to.
If you’re a sheep in this era, you’re 100% choosing to be.
Taking responsibility for one's own feelings, thoughts, and actions is a basic step towards improving potential in all aspects of life, and avoiding confusion, frustration, and the unbearable fatigue one feels when they believe they are a powerless victim of life.
Keep reading all those motivation posts about how "something great is about to happen". Just don't take that bullshit literally.
You know, based on what you've been spending your time on, if you're about to be blessed or cursed.
There are no magical success accidents.
An interesting fact about life: We’re better able to suffer lack than loss.
Chronic poverty and loneliness are easier to manage than losing everything you have and getting dumped.
In our darkest hour, it’s easy to believe that there is no one who understands our plight. This is untrue.
Someone’s had it worse. Someone understands. Someone’s made it through and can teach you how to do the same.
The greatest waste of time is arguing with people to change how they feel about something.
It’s perfectly reasonable for intelligent people to look at the same facts and have two different reactions to them.
Poor people love to tell you about how they “deserve” better, but instead of working for it, they finance it or pay for it with credit.
Of course, every creditor knows this and loans to people they really shouldn't.
Bad credit? No credit? Stay broke with us!
There’s nothing wrong with believing you deserve nice things.
The problem is when you refuse to do the work to acquire them and take shortcuts to their acquisition.
This keeps you poor because not only does this never work, you don’t learn any skills to actually get anything.
You just sulk, get jealous, live beyond your means or worse, commit a crime to acquire what you think you deserve.
I’m not a proponent of motivation in the sense of how it's presented on every self-improvement website. However, if there is any definition that I would endorse, it would be this:
Any experience or event that makes you want to stop bullshitting in your own life.
Self-discipline is important, but I find that it's the natural byproduct of having a worthwhile goal for yourself, coupled with disgust at remaining the same.
Real-motivation comes from the fear that you’ll be in the exact same position 1 year from now.
Stop taking shortcuts for the short-term so you can be in position to build for the long-term.
If you ever feel guilt about going after what you want, remember:
Change is only accomplished by the passionate who will do more than what’s expected or required. You only act in this manner if you love what you do.
You learn the valuable lesson of grit by not only surviving situations that cripple most people, but thriving in spite of them.
Forgiveness is not automatic. It’s a choice you make every time you feel angry about something in the past.
Choose wisely and live forever. Choose poorly and die by your emotions.
While financial stability is no guarantee of physical, mental, or emotional stability, I believe there’s a strong enough correlation to say that being broke is truly bad for your health.
It is very difficult to reach maturity in Africa.
Every major system depends on keeping you in a consumer mindset like a teenager.
And no doubt about it, it feels good in the moment to remain comfortable.
Any growth is spiritual war.
Leading a happy life on your own terms will trigger the hell out of losers.
When you try to get it the fast way, the price you pay is sustainability and stability.
When you plan for the long term, you make moves that keep you in the game longer than the other players. You can win by attrition alone.
It’s better to be an inactive loser than an active degenerate. If you can’t think of anything productive to do, it’s better to do nothing.
You can ALWAYS build yourself up from nothing. It’s a lot harder when no one trusts you or you're behind bars.
The health habits of most people are so mediocre that what you think is “healthy” is probably still sub-par by standards even 30 years ago.
How you lived and the quality of your relationships
These are the intangibles that you’ll remember long after the tangibles have faded, decayed, or disintegrated.
The relationships you have with people will change when you start to change.
For those who see the value of change and adaptation, a newly revealed truth is a blessing.
For those who despise change and the adversity that comes with it, that truth is a curse.
Forget the mistake. Remember the lesson.
The surest way to know you’re failing to live authentically is not having any haters.
Those living life acquiescing to the politically correct ways of the world will always resent a man who lives life on his own terms and according to his own convictions.
Foods that consistently score highly on the satiety index (and that you should get more of):
- Potatoes
- Lean beef
- Chicken
- Oats
- Eggs
- Beans
- Veggies
I would also add steak & apples to this list personally.
There is no such thing as contentment. The human condition always defaults to discontent. How we deal with discontent is all the difference. We can deal with it creatively or destructively and write our fates accordingly.
Always the guys who are unsuccessful that “know what hours it takes” to be successful.
Makes no sense.
Is it a ridiculous amount of work? Yes. Do you have zero social life NO.
You can go out every week and still succeed with ease.
The weak use drugs and fantasy to numb pain.
The strong use truth, even the harshest of realities, to do the same thing.
You can run - but you cant hide.
In this degenerate age, the Path to Excellence can be a highly Lonely Path.
Emotional Self-Sufficiency thus becomes Paramount.
Without it, you’re guaranteed to fall off in no Time.
- "But the sex is great"
- "But I've never felt like this before"
- "I feel bad for him/her"
- "I'm scared of being alone. Huge void there will be"
- "But I don't know if I'll find someone better"
If these are your Reasons,
You'll deeply Regret you Stayed in that Relationship.
For facts, your memory is your best friend.
For feelings, it's your worst enemy.
Key change for me in the gym:
Just show up and do random shit for 30 mins to an hour
No tracking, no plan
Just have fun
Your time is finite.
If you want to build a life you can simultaneously be proud of and inspires reverence, then you have to figure out where you can exist in the top 20%. Then get there.

Something has been sitting on my mind lately
Some of you who are starting brands are posting your brands and links and stuff on steemit
Your friends won’t even RS you
They RS all the gossip in the world but won’t RS you
They are haters, find new friends
Progress made towards a goal is its own motivation.
The media is a vile machine that profits only--and especially--if you are angry and outraged about something.
The more divided the people, the better their bottom line. Remember this whenever you see "the news".
