A CHRISTMAS PRESENT.
Christmas was approaching, and Lucas was excited. He had written his letter to Santa Claus, asking for a bunch of toys and a new board game. However, deep in his heart, he knew that he had been a little disobedient. Still, he couldn't help but dream about the gifts he would receive.
Christmas morning came, and Lucas woke up to the sound of bells and laughter. He ran to the tree, where the presents were piled high. With great excitement, he began to open them one by one. But to his surprise, instead of the toys he had asked for, he found a bag full of coal.
Lucas gaped. “Why did he bring me coal?” he thought, feeling a little sad. But instead of crying, he decided to investigate. He remembered that his grandfather always told him that coal could be useful. So, instead of putting it aside, he took the bag to his grandfather’s workshop.
Together, they began to think about how they could use the coal. Soon, they came up with a brilliant idea: to build a small oven to make pizza. Lucas had never made pizza before, and the idea of cooking with his grandfather excited him. They spent hours working together, laughing and sharing stories as the oven took shape.
Finally, it was time to taste their creation. They made dough, added sauce and cheese, and put the pizza in the oven. The aroma that filled the air was incredible. When the pizza was ready, Lucas and his grandfather sat down to enjoy it, and Lucas realized that the coal, rather than being a disappointing gift, had been the spark that ignited a new family tradition.
From that day on, every Christmas, Lucas and his grandfather made pizzas together, remembering it as a gift.
