Another Leg Day

What's going on friends. Today is turkey leg Tuesday. Because, well, I have had turkey legs my whole life. I should really be doing legs 2-3 times a week, but.. well I don't

I have lived with a victim mentality for a large portion of my life, and I am aware it has stolen much joy and experience from my life. Movement, including fitness and yoga has helped enormously, providing a consistent balance to my life. I am also a big advocate on meditation. Whether it's 4 minutes or a 4 month retreat. I feel it is important to MAKE time (which if something is important enough, anyone can do) to just sit with your thoughts. Sue it sounds boring and hard, and dumb- but once you turn it into a daily practice, it can be fun, insightful and chockfull of value. Learning how to be patient and understanding with oneself- is a beautiful journey.
