Love is in the Air

in #love16 days ago

I have a few morning rituals and one of them is feeding the birds. They have the sense of the time on which I will keep their food, so like small babies, around that time they come to my balcony and wait. I started this practice some months back only. There is a bird feeding place adjacent to my building but I think the person who feeds there keeps some big grains for the birds as I always see big birds come over there for food. I never see small birds there and I was always wondering where would the small birds go then. Since that time I started putting some white sesame seeds for the small birds on my balcony. I was not sure if they would eat or not, but to my surprise, on the first day when I kept, within some time everything was over. From that time daily I put small seeds for them, some days I also put flax seeds and that also gets over.

First I was not sure, which seeds would be good for them, so I did a little study and found out that white and black sesame seeds and flax seeds are nutritious for them, so turn by turn I put it for them so that they also do not get bored of eating the same things daily. Today morning after I put the food, these 2 birdies came and had their fill and after that both of them got into a very joyful mood. I was so much enjoying watching them, both of them looked like in love, pecking each other, felt like they were kissing each other. I could sense that romance between them....hehe, totally in a playful mood.

I took some pictures of them while they were at play. For almost 10 minutes they were there and then flew away. They gave me a very good morning vibe.

A little from last night also. My helper is not in town so since past couple of days I have only been managing the cooking. Yesterday I was in a mood to eat something veggie, simple and at the same time relishing. I tried my hands on making palak paneer and paratha. Both of them turned out to be very delicious. Hubby does not enjoy eating veggies much, but he too loved it. I served him with some onion and tomatoes salad and he relished it. He is not a person who gets easily impressed when it comes to food, because he is a very good chef. If he praises means it's really good and I felt so proud of myself. Cooking is not my skill, but on and off I try something new. Sometimes it turns out well and most of the time disaster....haha.

I was feeling so happy last night because he enjoyed the meal and me too and then the same mood continued today morning with these little birdies. Truly, love is in the air :-)
