Woah, I just saw this. Nothing I can say that could help, but I hope it was therapeutic to get those thoughts out. I did the same with some stuff for my Dad who just died and it helped me a lot. Thanks for sharing this personal experience.

I'm not sure how therapeutic it was for me, because 5 weeks later I still ache for him. But if I know anything, its that it does help, whether we realize it or not, to talk about it. And maybe... just maybe... someone read this that reached out to one of their friends or family members that they hadn't seen in a long time and it made a difference.
I'm also really sorry to hear about your dad. I know you guys were trying to sort some stuff out, and I hope you were able to find some peace with that.
