Lukla Street

Lukla Street is the main pathway running through the small Himalayan town of Lukla, often called the “gateway to Everest.” Located in the Khumbu region of Nepal, Lukla is best known as the starting point for the famous trek to Everest Base Camp. The town sits at an altitude of about 2,860 meters (9,383 feet) and is surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.
