Try liberty caps - around 50 or so cos they are pretty small - it's a truly spiritual experience - lasts about 4-5 hours - puts your whole life in perspective within the multiverse ;)
Doesn't matter - fresh or dried - stick them on a toasted bacon sandwich - aaah bacon :) make sure there aren't any clear plastic bags around, or you will be staring at it for a couple of hours LOL.
I think I am too uneducated in the types of toadstools around here to be game trying out any. If I had a reliable source, it might be a different matter, but one day, maybe.
Great pics buddy - Shaggy ink caps - Didn't know they were called Lawyers wig - a fitting name - corrupt and black the older they get :)
These were plentiful back in England - no real taste - and not much flesh... you need half a carrier bag full to do a meal.... Puff balls are a better option before they turn to jelly inside or blue buttons (wood blewits) this time of year - early winter.
Cool. Are they tasty or do they intoxicate you?

Even better, these were in the lawns outside the High Court.
I did not realise these were the same as Shaggy Ink Caps, lol. Common names...
Coprinus comatus is more accurate.
