While it may not be a scam in your opinion, it could be considered spam if this is the only type of content you post. Spam is not appreciated by the community and could be flagged or may result in action from the cheetah bot..
I actually have not made a verdict yet about whether it is a scam or not, I just got curious and would like to know if anyone else has done it. It is definitely spam if you populate forums with it but writing about it and posting on your blog doesn't qualify as spam...or does it.
