"SLC26-W1 | Tequeños"
Greetings to you dear teachers and students!
Am glad to participate in the season 26 week 1 steemit learning challenge, it an honor to learn from you dear teacher @nehela here is my practical and theory answers to this week assignment.
1 - Make your own tequeños (include ingredients, quantities and step by step instructions) with my recipe or any other of your choice.
Ingredients
• A cup of self rising flour
• 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
• half teaspoon of salt
• 1/2 teaspoon of margarine
• half cup of water
• chocolate
Step1
In a bowl I poured in my flour made a whole in the middle of the flour added in sugar, salt and butter and mixed together till it mixed up well.
Step2
I added water bit by bit and knead till it was well combined then I covered it and put it in the fridge for some hours.
Step3
After hours in the fridge my dough was firm for rolling so I rolled it flat sprinkle some flour to make it smooth then cut it into a juvenile shape with my chocolate ready for filling.
Step4
Started by wrapping the dough on the chocolate till i was done with all.
Step5
In a hot pan I added some olive oil and heated the a I gently drop all my dough to fry then flip over after 30 second continue frying till done and my tequinos were ready.
2 - When you tried tequeños, what was your experience like? Did you like them? Explain your answer in detail.
Being the first of me making tequinos I was nervous of what the outcome will be and I knew i had to pay close attention to every detail of explanation from the class teacher's step by step process of making them to be able to achieve a good result and also following this process without having to miss even a single detail made it a smooth experience from mixing my ingredients refrigerate for a firmer texture and wrapping it was a nice feeling.
Did i enjoy my tequinos? My simple answer is yes i made sure all my ingredients was in moderation using chocolate for feeling gave it a unique flavor it was delicious and enjoyable.
3 - What sauce would you serve with your tequeños?
I would love to use tomato sauce, not diced tomatoes but cut in round shape fried wit shredded sadine i believe this sauce would complement my tequinos even more.
4 - Besides the filling you used for your tequeños, what other filling would you like to use or have you tried? Tell us.
I would have loved to use cheese for my feelings but due to price of cheese which is way above my budget i could afford it also i have eaten tequinos with potatoes feeling which is mostly sold by the street food vendors so i wanted to try something new which is chocolate feeling which turned out to be great as well.

Really Prices of commodities are really skyrocketing we just need to go for what we can afford sometimes, and yes the chocolate filling was awesome thanks alot for stopping by.
