Directions for preparation following my steps in the pictures.

My ingredients were ready I started with my flour in a clean bowl making a hole in the middle like the teacher did, I added my salt and sugar, baking powder and butter and mixed well until it forma sand like.
I added cold water little by little and knead for 3 minutes until my dough is well compacted.
I placed in a transparent wrap and flattened it before putting in my refrigerator for 2hours, truly this refrigerating process helped my work.
I cut my dough into portions and into sticks .
Next was moisturizing the strips of the dough and wrapping with my fish sauce small small.
It was well wrapped and ready to be fries in my hot deep vegetable oil.
When it was golden brown I removed from fire and drain in a sieve my Tequenos was ready.

The experience of my Tequeños was excellent, I did an appetizing snacks, I loved the taste I was curious because it has been long but when I finished frying and I tested it, I regretted doing small quantity.
I like my tequeños and I wouldn't stop eating it even after the challenge I prefer it to buns.
The freshness of my tequeños is eye catchy and my children loved it. It's a snacks I can recommend to many people. The most amazing thing is that it doesn't require too much ingredients.

3 - What sauce would you serve with your tequeños?

IMG_20250814_142948_336.jpg

I served my tequeños with my pepper and tomatoes sauce, guys it was another meal on its own, this combination is fantastic and it goes well with my tequeños.

4 - Besides the filling you used for your tequeños, what other filling would you like to use or have you tried? Tell us.

Aside the fish sauce that I used , I will like to use boneless chicken thighs to prepare my tequeños next time , though I enjoy it with my deboned fish.

Something like cabbage sauce will be fine, I will also give it a trial.

This is a wonderful class thanks to our teacher,I love this week's topic.
