Today, I have come to participate in the fourth week of the Steemit Challenge SLC-S26/W4, organized by the Honorable teacher @nahela ma'am. She has brought us a delicious Hamburger bun, whose name is SLC26-W4 | Hamburger bun."I feel proud to participate in this challenge.

Make your own hamburger buns. They can be potato, sweet potato, or pumpkin (include ingredients, quantities, and step-by-step instructions) using my recipe or any other recipe of your choice.-

The experience of making a delicious hamburger bun under the guidance of respected teacher @nahela ma’am is truly great. I am going to make a hamburger bun with great enthusiasm. Before making the hamburger bun, I am presenting its ingredients: -

Ingredients to make the Hamburger bun: -

Flour500 grams
Potatoes (mashed)125 grams
Water175 ml
Eggs55 grams
Sugar30 grams
Salt10 grams
Dry yeast3 grams
Milk powder25 grams

Now I am going to make a hamburger bun with these ingredients. I am going to present the tutorial for making the bun below.

Tutorial to make the Hamburger bun: -

🔘 Step:-01:-

  • First of all, I prepare all the items in the quantity with the help of a measuring cup.
  • Then, take 500 grams of flour in a bowl and add salt to it.

🔘 Step:-02:-

  • Now I boil 125 grams of potatoes, mash them, and put them in the bowl of flour.
  • I also add 30 grams of sugar to the flour by measuring cup

  • Now I add 3 grams of yeast to the flour.
  • Now I add 25 grams of powdered milk and 30 grams of margarine to the bowl.

🔘 Step:-04:-

  • Now I break 55 grams of eggs and prepare them in a bowl. And slowly add the eggs to the flour. At the same time, I make the dough with yeast.

  • I keep kneading the flour dough until the dough is soft. Knead continuously for about 10-12 minutes to make the dough fluffy and soft.

  • After making the dough, I cover the dough well for about two hours.
  • After two hours, I see that the dough I made has risen and almost doubled in size.

🔘 Step:-07:-

  • Now I will make small dough balls with the dough. I make 10 balls weighing 90 grams.
  • I cover the balls in the dark for another hour. Then I brush the top of each ball with egg yolk with a brush.
  • Once the egg is done, I sprinkle sesame seeds on the top of the ball.

🔘 Step:-08:-

  • I will make the burger buns with a griddle. So, I put a pan on the stove, spread some paper on the pan, and put a stand there. Then I put the balls on a steel plate to make three buns.
    Then I cover it well with a lid.

  • I slowly make the burger buns in three stages and arrange them on a plate; each stage takes 15-20 minutes. I cook the buns by increasing the heat of the stove. Each bun is quite soft.

  • The hamburger buns are finished. I made the forests for the Steemit Challenge, so I wrote the name of the challenge on a piece of paper and took a picture.

After trying the buns, how was your experience? Did you like them? Explain your answer in detail.

Yes, the experience of making these hamburgers was really amazing. I have never made these hamburger buns before. Today, I am very happy to have the opportunity to make hamburger buns for the first time by following the method instructed by the respected teacher @nahela ma’am. I have been able to gain new experience. I have also taken another step towards improving my skills.
I can make hamburgers like this anytime to meet the needs of my children and family.
However, I faced some difficulties while making hamburgers. The respected teacher @nahela ma’am made hamburgers in a microwave. I did not have a microwave at home. Then I used the stove as an alternative. I was a little hesitant about how long I should keep it in the stove. I checked it repeatedly by opening the lid of the pan. Alhamdulillah, I was able to make all my buns beautifully.
After making the hamburgers, I loved them. I tasted them with my children. They were very fluffy. I achieved 100% satisfaction by making the hamburgers.

In your opinion, what should be the perfect hamburger?

I made the hamburger bun for the first time at home, but I have eaten burgers from the store several times. I know that if the bun of the burger is not soft and fresh, no matter how good the filling inside is, it will not be delicious.
That does not mean that the filling inside is not fresh; every item used in the filling inside must be perfect in quantity and fresh. Especially the meat must be boneless, and the vegetables must be fresh. The other cooking ingredients must be appropriate. The most important thing is that the food must be healthy. You must refrain from making burgers with any unhealthy items.
