Due to all the key components that you have listed along with the fact that Steemit offers free entry to participate and free transactions I have always wondered why the price of a steem token isn't higher than it already is. I think it bodes well that the token value has managed to hold above $5 USD...even during the exchange price reconciliation.

Absolutely correct! I can't even believe this price of STEEM! BTC and it's related POW is outdated and here we can see the advanced blockchain technology. User base and all other stuffs are match to see a huge price up! I think it will rise up in soon! Specially with the announcement of SMT! Thank you very much for your great support towards me! Yes, there is one more metric that is worth tracking (I think) and that's BTC dominance. When I started to watch it, it was up in the 60% arena. Now it's at 34.4%. As BTC continues to lose dominance we will see other coins like Steem, Bitshares and EOS climb in dominance. We all need to get use to comparing a coin's dominance against bitcoin as a measurement of mass support. ;) (These are things that keep me up at night. @theguruasia. LOL!)
