Their Boring Martian carried a block of cheese that they sometimes rub on his belly. It was considered to be a fairly original thought, to me and my parents, but not to the Martian, who thought that the idea was wonderful. A block of cheese being the thing opted for.

Their Boring Martian carried a can of Dr Pepper that they would sometimes worship. It should have been a fairly new undertaking, to my grandpa, but not to the Martian, who felt that the idea was out of this world. Honestly, a can of Dr Pepper was the item that was chosen.

Their Boring Martian carried a CD player that they would often put in the bath with him. One might find this to be a fairly curious action, to me and my wife, but not to the Martian, who thought that this idea is simply life. Who would have thought, a CD player was the chosen item.
