Meet The New Gerber Baby!

You may remember an adorable face on all your baby food jars growing up, and that famous little tot happened to be THE Gerber Baby. This well-known face recently got revamped with baby Grace who just won Gerber's Be Our Baby contest. So brace yourself and your soon to be exploding ovaries to see the cutest baby of all time.

Remember when you used to grow up eating a combo of blended squash and cauliflower topped with some mushroom? Well the face on those tasty little jars was the famous Gerber Baby and she has ruled the food label since 1928. The original Gerber Baby (below) was an unfinished charcoal drawing submitted to Gerber by an artist named Dorothy Hope from Connecticut. The model for the drawing was a little Ann Turner Cook who grew up to be an English teacher and mystery novelist.
Well, Gerber gave its famous baby a facelift this year with our Be Our Baby contest. The winner not only gets $50,000 and a year's worth of baby food, it also gets to be one of the world's most famous baby models. Given that I am in my mid 20's and have yet to turn a profit in my career, I think baby Grace's parents are going to be pretty happy with her.
