Casual Meetup with the @steemxp family

Last Saturday, 26th January, 2019, I attended the first @steemxp meetup for this year. This casual meetup was initiated and organised by @robmojo and @tommy133. We were scheduled to meet at Domino's Pizza, Inanam at 6.30 pm. @robmojo posted this announcement in @steemxp discord group asking members to type down their names for attendance. I didn't write down my name as I was 50/50 on coming. However, on that day @beverlyjoe persuaded me to come together with our girl @celo769

I'm glad that I came to the meet-up. I got to know some new members in @steemxp plus I got the chance to try out Domino's pizza.

That evening, @beverlyjoe @celo769 and me were the first to arrive. We're not sure what's the sitting arrangement would be so we wait about 5 minutes outside, then we saw @robmojo came with a cake. I felt like I gate crash the party as I and @celo769 didn't write our name in the discord group. However @robmojo assured me that any members are welcome to join.

Few minutes later, @tommy133 came with two other new members (didn't managed to get their username). While waiting for the others, I shared my personal experience about @tasteem and encouraged to join the contest weekly held by @tasteem

@harmonyval and her son came and we introduced ourselves. I'm so excited to know that we have a new musician, a music teacher in the house. Welcome @harmonyval and son!

Now, few minutes later our elite members 😀😀 @steemxp founder and Ambasador @danieldoughty with his lovely wife @viverridae came. Followed by our Steem Ambassador aka taiko @veenang , and the rest of the elite members @wilsonkoh @ragnarhewins90 @bboyady and @lizachong.

Steemit is truly the place to learn and grow with other Steemians. It was great to meet and interact with everyone like we've known each other for ages. That night our topics include @steemxp, @steemit, @tasteem and other apps on the STEEM blockchain.

@veenang made an announcement on our next outing to a recreation center in Penampang on the 23rd February, 2019. Details will be announced later in @steemxp discord group.

We have fun chatting and sharing that delicious Domino's pizza. I never got the chance to thank you @robmojo @tommy133 and whoever paid the meal and bought that @steemxp cake that day. THANK YOU..Lain kali belanja lagi 😋👍😘

One thing I noticed about our members...including me, we got the talent to be a wannabe Paparazi and photographer. Lots of clicks clicks for photos here and there. In fact, we can be famous like Hollywood movie stars! 😂😂

It was good to interact with other Steemians face to face. Discord and Steemit are wonderful platform to interact with other Steemian but I prefer to meet our members face to face. It easy to explain and share knowledge to and from each other. Furthermore, it strengthen our bond under one roof called @steemit
