I know...I'm a lackadaisical old coot; I've actually been there but never gave up any of my 'keys' to sign up/in...guess I'll have to learn to be less guarded in this crypto Con Artist environment of ours...???
If you are using chrome, or brave, browser get the extension 'keychain' and it will take care of it.
Otherwise, steemconnect is safe, for now.
