Beautiful Swiss memories

The one place that I will like to visit again and again is Switzerland, It is one of my most favorite Country. At the same time if anyone would ask me, will I like to live there permanently, my answer will be No. I cannot stand the extreme winter temperatures and for that reason I will never want to live there. But travelling in summers, possibly every year I can do it. I was working with Swiss Airlines for the first few years of my career and I travelled there very often and stayed for long durations. During that time I visited the length and breadth of the Country, explored some of the most interior parts of the Country, and every place would make me feel wow.

When I left the job, for many years then I did not travel, then 5 years back me and hubby planned to do a holiday and it was so wonderful, bringing back so many memories of the place. And after that holiday I got a chance again to visit twice, it was for hubby's work. I was super excited because it was not planned and yet it happened, that too not once but twice. In the second visit we decided to travel to Zermatt, it is one destination that we had not visited. I wanted to visit the Matterhorn. I had visited the other peaks, Jungfrauch and Titlis, but this was still on the bucket list. And I finally got a chance to visit.

While booking my stay in Zermatt, I made sure that from my hotel Matterhorn was visible, even if it was a little part of it. We had reached late afternoon, and were to stay there for 3 days, on that day we took it little easy. We went to the supermarket picked up some food and then settled in our hotel room balcony with our wine and food, enjoying this view. After all that's what we had come for. I remember it was very overwhelming, both of us clicked so many pictures.
