Interestingly enough The Crazy World of Arthur Brown released a year before Alice, and the makeup style of both of them is very similar. So it was either one of those strange attractor situations where both people had similar ideas at almost the same time without either knowing of each other, or if it is not then I'd say Alice was likely a fan of Arthur Brown's work and took it to the next level. Hard to say. :)
